GRAND TARGHEE TRIP  -  DECEMBER 12-17, 2017
  • The Grand Targhee Resort Mountain Experience is a high elevation mountain resort that best its snow early and often from heaven and not from hoses! Over 450 inches a year on average with opening day usually happening on schedule Thanksgiving Day. Resort is noted to have some of the best quality snow in North American by most ski publications. Two high speed quads and two fixed grip lifts access lots of great groomers and off piste pow! A new fixed grip quad was installed last year!  The 2000ft vertical drop off the Dream Catcher Quad provides opportunity for big 50,000+ vertical ski days (25+ laps). Skiers can recharge at the famous Trap Bar at the base. Targhee is a great place to get your ski legs back with good easy green and low level ability level runs (and groomed x-c track) on lower mountain to upper level terrain and expert on the upper mountain.
