"Full Day" and "Blast of Whitewater"
Provided by
A Wanderlust Adventure

The Cheyenne Ski Club will again be offering two white water raft trips on the
Cache LaPoudre River in 2010. The first is the Blast of White Water; the second is a
Full Day of White Water. Both trips are set for June 12.
Blast of White Water: This is your opportunity to attack Class III-IV rapids to keep
the adrenaline flowing! We meet at 9:30 a.m. at A Wanderlust Adventures, below
Vern's Restaurant in LaPorte. Time on the river is 2.5-3 hours. Total time including
travel to and from the river should be around 4 hours.

Full Day of White Water: The same trip as the Blast (above) but with the addition
of upper canyon solitude, fun white water and a deli style lunch. We meet at 8:30
a.m. at A Wanderlust Adventures. Finish time is 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Fees: Blast - $69.50 per person, $71.50 with gloves; Full Day - $110.00, $112.00
with gloves. All fees include a wetsuit, booties, fleece, paddle jackets, helmet and a
tip fund. The wetsuit is mandatory in June due to the cold water and the fact that
people don't realize how cold the water is until it's too late.

If interested, contact Jerry Champlin at 638-1868 or jchampski@aol.com. Checks
should be made out to the Cheyenne Ski Club and mailed to Jerry at 820 E. 18th
St. , 82001. Payment may also be made at the Wine & Cheese (and beer) Tasting
Party on April 15. Deadline for registration is May 5. After this date, registrations will
be taken as openings are available.
